在花蓮的壽豐鄉，
有一個富有歷史，人文，創意的”豐田文史館”隱身於其中，
由日治時期，
豐田移民村警察廳重新翻修而成。

交通位置：

日據時代時, 壽豐鄉是日本作為移民村的據點之一,
所以即使在過了近一世紀之後, 這兒依然還保有大量日據時代的文化遺跡.

雖然目前已經沒有「豐田村」這樣的行政區,
但是壽豐鄉豐山村、豐裡村、豐坪村的人們, 依舊習慣總稱三村為「豐田」.
由舊警察廳於2001年整修完成的豐田文史館 , 現被用來保存昔日的風情.
由於是日式建築, 所以具有濃濃的日本風.

文史館除有各式遙遠年代老農具、
黑白老照片展示及曾經風華一時的豐田玉,
並搭配有社區媽媽製作的軟陶, 拼布, 手工珠等的作品展售,
牆上一幅一幅的拼布, 描述著豐田與在地居民的故事.

有許多人認為日本人開發豐田是為開採玉石.
從歷經日據時代的老居民口中得知,
日本人是為了開採「石綿」做為火藥原料，而開發這塊地方.
如今, 隨著時光褪色, 只剩下老舊斑駁的軌跡, 讓人憑空緬懷, 令人不勝唏噓.

館的後方, 種有許多藤蔓植物, 將屋簷點綴得綠意盎然,
院內亦開了各式各樣的花朵, 在夏季裡爭奇鬥艷, 十分熱鬧

此外, 館的旁邊有間小小的冰飲室, 除了冷熱飲外
夏天還會賣好吃的黑糖剉冰和薑茶唷
在這樣充滿綠意的樹下乘涼, 人生再愜意也不過了
